PLC Workflow attaches all possible dependencies

We are using the PLC work flow to publish the . pages , most of the time the workflow
attaches all possible dependencies in the CMS to certain jobs, even though they are not
all related to the page being pushed. Some times over 300 dependencies were being
attached when they shouldn't be.

How to control this ? Any configuration change ?
Any help / reference appreciated

There is a Java Bean you can set that will tell the WF to only attach modified dependencies. There are threads about that. However there is a bug in 7.2.1 (not certain if it still exists in 7.3.1) that this stops ALL dependencies.

This same bean also has a boolean to turn off the recursive traversal of dependencies and pick up only the first order dependencies of what you've submitted.
