Events for IWEventRegistry.addItemhandler

Looking for a list of valid "on..." events to use with addItemhandler in TagUI. [ update - found this in the next section of chapter 3 of the FORMAPI Reference, sorry ]

Specifically I'm looking for the event to trigger upon loading the form. I want to populate a list of valid items when the form loads.

This is my first attempt at using the API for TagUI - any hints and gottcha's that anyone can relate here would be helpful.

To be more specific, I want to create a field that will be populated from the "taxonomy" content. My plan was to get the taxonomy XML file via AJAX and populate the list box. Anyone do this and/or have a better way?

As usual - RTFM is a valid response, just let me know which Fine Manual to comb through.

You can have your custom script called when form loads, just call this from init() function. for ex:

// retrieve all your form elements, you can do that since form is loaded
// call your custom call using call server to retrieve either from your sources

IWDatacapture.callServer('http://google.com/getstatuslist',params,boolean);

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onFormInit", init);

[/php] Above code should be in your DCT or in the script file which you have referenced in DCT

I just typed the above code, you will get exact syntax from the api doc you are working on. IWDC.callserver will set the code to your field which needs to be populated with your options. I'm terrible in explaining things.. let me know if that doesn't seem good.
