Database Connectivity Issue

Hi,

We have recently re-installed the database(MSSQL 2008) and after that the tables in database for Reporting is not updating due to which are not getting the reports correctly.

During installation we have change the DB password for the user "sa".
While debugging more we found that in the logs it says that Login failed for "sa" user.

Kindly suggest the way by which we can change the password at the Teamsite level.

Configuration :
Teamsite 7.2
Database : MSSQL 2008.

I suggest you open a support ticket, as far as i know it is not as simple as finding the config file and changing the password. All the passwords are encrypted, and its hard to find the config file which needed to be changed.

For basic reporting you should have this file which lists the password.

Check database Tags in /od-home/etc/database.xml file and perhaps individual DD configuration Files.
Use "iwsyncdb -encodepassword..." to (re)encode your new password if needed, see Database Deployment
Administration Guide for details.
