I am trying to deploy the content. its working fine. I have one question can you please tell me if i click on property of the dcr or a out put file the version counter is not getting increased? what can be the road block for this?

The version is not incremented on a deployment, only when a new version is created. If a submit is happening, then the counter will increment. You will also see that reflectedin the submit log, which you can see in the UI if you are looking at the branch view.
