SitePublisher and TinyMCE Issue

TS 7.2.1 on Windows Server 2003

We're having an issue with TinyMCE when editing components/DCRs from pages. When we edit the content from the page, our TinyMCE fields are unreadable due to the background color from our CSS being dropped into the field. Our site CSS sets a background image on all pages and it is a dark gray. I know that through SitePublisher, the CSS is pulled from the Page Settings and applied to the TinyMCE field, but I'm trying to find a way to eliminate the background image being set because this leaves the text in the field unreadable, so users cannot see the contents of the field or the text that they're typing in. (See attached screenshot) I would think that this could be an issue for a lot of customers, so if anyone can help out with this, it would be a big help.

I don't think there will a direct approach for this requirement.
As per my understanding you have to do customization or hack in OOTB TinyMCE editor. You can look into installed location of TinyMCE (iw-home/httpd/tinymce).
In .page files TinyMCE configuration is being handled by "tiny_mce_src.js" scripts. So you may look into this file that will give some input. Go through loadCSS method.

Make sure you should keep the back up file before making any change.

It may not be the best solution, but you can create 2 css files. In the first, do what you need to do for publishing. In the second, set the body tag (or whatever) to override the background image and set it to white. Don't publish the second css file, just submit the first one. While working in Site Pub, you'll have a white bg and when published it will look correct.

Go thorough Customize TinyMCE section of SP developer guide it will clearly explain how to achieve this.
remove the body background css part and give the newly referred css file as mentioned in the customization.

Single CSS file for Site....
