Restoration of Backing Store

i have the /local/iw-store directory of my Teamsite server backed up in a tape drive. Now i have to restore that content into my reintsalled Teamsite Server.

How do i do this ?

What exactly do you have backed up? all of /local/iw-store (which would include not just the default store, but the workflow and events store and any other store you may have created in the default location).

Is the backup that you have a full and complete backup? Is it a point in time backup (a backup that will restore the filesystem to the same state it was in when the backup was taken)?

If so all you should need to do is shutdown TS, move asside the current /local/iw-store and then restore /local/iw-store from tape and then restart TS. This should restore your complete system (workflows, etc) from the time that you made the backup. When the restore is complete you may want to run iwfsck -d on each of your backing stores (just to make sure they are all ok). if everything checks out then you should just be able to start TS.
