Setting the dependencies on files.

Hello folks,

I am trying to programatically set dependencies for a sitepublisher page.The appoach i am following is Reading all the dependencies for the source file and send .page for translation.When the .page becomes back translated im setting back the dependencies which i am able to do fine but the problem is on the PLC workflow ,on the "Attach Dependencies Task" i could not see the dependencies i have programatically set.

How do i make sure that these dependent file are shown in the PLC task?Any thoughts?

What verson of TeamSite / LiveSite are you using?

How, exactly, are you setting these dependencies on the page file?

I am on TS and Livesite 7.4.1.I am actually setting these thorugh CSSDK. Below is the code that i used.

The problem is you're not copying over the association type. Instead, you're creating the dependencies with an association type of <empty string>. The Attach Dependencies task specifically looks for dependencies of type "SitePub.Deployable" or some such.

Thanks for the comment .I did try the below and i am able to sucessfully see the associated files but when i try to publish the files on the attach dependencies task,i dont see any dependencies and it shows the following message. I am i doing something wrong here?

Some assets being deployed have not been migrated to use TeamSite Associations, which will prevent the deployment from properly attaching dependent files. Also Find Related Files and Globalized Content Management features like creation of localized sites and DCRs may not work properly.

Please contact your System Administrator and request that iw_migrate_dependencies.ipl be run on the iw-store containing this site. By design, all sites in the same store will be migrated for dependencies during this tool run.

You may view the files that are missing the associations, and choose whether to proceed. If you proceed, you should confirm that the related files are part of the workflow, and if not, re-submit after manually selecting those files.

Use /iw-cc/command/iw.base.loggers to turn on debug logging for ca.gc.forces.teamsite.workflow.webtask.AttachDependenciesWebTask and then run your workflow again. Then check server.log and/or content_center.log and see what it says.
