scrollbar for ui custom page

Hi,

I am working on Custom menu items.
I configured scrollbars=yes in ui_custom.xml but still my page that I configured for menu item is not getting scrollbars.

kindly help me in fixing this.

Did you rebuild the toolkit after making that change to the ui_custom.xml?
(if not - do so - and make sure it builds cleanly)

If that doesn't fix the issue, please post the entire actual clause that you incorporated into your ui_custom.xml for this particular custom menu item - make sure that it is properly formatted (use Preview Post to make sure before submitting the reply to the thread)

Also - please verify that you do not have any "copy", "checkpoint", or "backup" files sitting in the IWHOME/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/etc/conf/customer/ directory.

I am running maketoolkit after making modifications in ui_custom.xml. But still that effect no getting acted on my jsp page.

There were no backupfiles in ../../etc/conf/customer to.

The content that I added in ui_custom is:

The only thing I can think of (without any real basis for it being the source of the issue) is that you are referencing a JSP whereas, when I've done custom menu items in the past I've almost always referenced CGIs ...

Temporarily change the url for your custom menu item from

url="/iw-cc/country/UIAtmMaintenance.jsp

url="/iw-bin/show_env.cgi"

and see if the scrollbars and everything appear correctly.

If they do - then the issue is either within the specific JSP or somehow the fact that it is a JSP.

As you suggested I tried to test my jsp code directly in browser
ex:https://servername/iw-cc/country/UIATMMaintenanace.jsp

Then my page is getting displayed with scroll bar. It means error is not with jsp. But while calling from custom menu I am facing this problem(even though configured scrollbars=yes in ui_custom.xml).

I suggest you re-read my previous post - I did not suggest running your JSP directly in your browser as a means of testing it - try running the test I suggested and let us know what happens.

Now the issue was fixed.
I dont know how. After running maketool kit many times for other purpose. it got the change.
