XSL PT to generate xml file output

Hi,

I need to generate xml file as output using xsl PT mean XSL + DCR = xml file o/p

this xml file output has some div classes etc for which I went with xsl with o/p as xml

I did some changes in templating.cfg file like " <template name="test.xsl" extension="xml" ptcompiler="com.interwoven.ui.formspub.utils.XSLTPTCompiler">",

Do anything more is required etc.

I believe that's all you need beside the XSL PT and the DCR to process.

Have you tried it?

Have you gotten results or errors?

somehow I am getting PT error while preview/generate, and when I am trying this in online xslt tool I am getting proper output.

Donot know why this error is there.

If someone came to you and said "I tried writing a program to do X but it doesn't work" - what would you ask them?

How about things like:

What version of the product are you using?
What platform / OS is the product running on?
What is the exact error message you are seeing?
If the error is being displayed in the UI - have you tried locating more detailed information in any of the log files?
Have you tried simplifying the source (DCR) and XSLT to a point where you can share both along with the error?

If we cannot see what you are doing, and do not know what you are seeing - how are we supposed to help you resolve the issue?

Few info below

What version of the product are you using? -- 732
What platform / OS is the product running on? Linux
Its PT compiler error, something related to parsing

I have attached the piece of code which I m trying and the o/p which I m getting when I try it in online xslt test tool, but when I try in TS I get PT error.

I don't see anything wrong with your XSL, but if there's an error then your server logs should contain some useful details. Have you looked, or was there nothing to be found?
