Experiences with access outside Corporate Network?
System
DevNetters -
I was wondering if any of you have experience with extending TeamSite access outside of the corporate network beyond the suggestions in the Support article #61987, 'Accessing TeamSite from Outside the Corporate Network'.
I've got an Engineer here who wants me to look into options beyond vpn (we've got that set up for a couple of groups) and, in particular, look at Citrix Netscaler.
I've got little to no experience with Citrix. If I search Support, there's nothing there and searching DevNet produces little.
I've asked our hosting agency about this and they came back with 'vpn', but the Engineer still wishes to look into it a bit - thus this post.
Any success stories, Citrix or otherwise?
Thx in advance for your help.

When VPN is not a solution then Citrix is far less acceptable solution. We have enabled TeamSite once for a quite shorter time to all internet users, again it depends on your network architecture.

I end up using Citrix as a client quite often. No problems at all.
The other option is you can put it on SSL and on a public IP address. I have done that before, though your networking guys will have a fit.

So the java applets function OK with Citrix for you?
