use XML::Writer error

Hi ,

When i am using XML::Write; i am getting the below error what can i do to remove this error and use write module

Objective : Generate xml file Dynamiccally

use XML::Writer;
my $doc = new XML::Writer();

Error :

Can't locate object method "new" via package "XML::Writer" at /opt/Interwoven/TeamSite/httpd/iw-bin/custom/bac_lah/Master_Xml.ipl line 48.

Please help !!!

CPAN shows a different usage:

my $writer = XML::Writer->new(OUTPUT => $output, NEWLINES => 1);

new XML::Writer() and XML::Writer->new() are syntactically equivalent though.. so my guess is that you didn't compile the module properly, or you had installation issues with it.

Make sure you have that perl module installed on your system.

I feel that the module is not installed properly can any one please tell me how can i install writer.pm module to solaris ?

Hi Guys,

I have solved the issue i just simple cut and paste the following to resolve the error i hope it helps some one else who has same issue

I could not paste the code so i am providing the link to the pm file,save it under XML folder as Writer.pm
