OD Instance Error

Hi,
I have created a new odinstance and enabled it.

But when I am trying to run cmd as below:
/apps/OpenDeployNG/bin/iwodcmd -odinst myinstance start test

It is giving me error
Error: OpenDeploy instance 'myinstance' does not exist, or has never started.
Reason: /apps/OpenDeployNG/inst/myinstance/db.cltproxyopts - No such file or directory

Please suggest.

Try with out -odinst option, ie /Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/bin/iwodcmd start od-config-file
You can also try using /Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/bin/iwodstart

You said you created and enabled the new instance (no errors I assume?), but have you started it? The new instance will run its own JVM and needs its own service (Win) or /etc/init.d script (nix) to run as a daemon. If you look at the original one, you'll see the JVM takes a -Dod.inst.name parameter.
