slowness while editing livesite componenents in a *.page

Dear IW Masters,

Greetings,

I need your help - when we edit a livesite component on a .page file , it takes 3-4 minutes to open the content tab , layout tab opens in short time , appearance tab also takes time.

Is this due to low memeory.

I checked at tht time , the available memory was 20 MB , Is it solely a memory issue or May you give me some direction to analyse.

That does seem like low memory, so it's definitely something to look at. However, large amounts of datums, many callouts to option generators, and (in some versions of teamsite) many replicant instances all contribute to a slowdown of those tabs.

Specify your TS version if you need more assistance.

installed on Linux.

6.7.1. is a very old version. Good luck with that.

Could be 1 of a number of reasons, some you can fix, some may be product related.

Check your logs to see if any stack traces are produced when you edit
