Easy Deploy Server license

HI,

Can somebody tell me if we have OD Base server license for Production, do we need to buy a seperate license for dev server and also if we have Easy Deploy Server license , can we download the OD Base server or not? Since Easy Deploy has OpenDeploy Base Server and the last version was 6.2 and since then no new version has come out.

Good questions. Doubt there are good answers.

If you have an EasyDeploy license, you should be able to download the OD base and test it out. Do not generate a new license.

You can try support or the sale critter, but I bet the answer will be buy an upgrade for OD.

For dev server, check your license agreement. Long ago (TS 5.x timeframe) that was a license for everything you use in prod for Development purposes only. However they are also pretty strict about content/code migration from Dev to Prod requiring a true OD license and not a Dev server license (pushing content TS Dev to Dev webserver is allowed for Dev OD, pushing content/code from Dev TS to Prod TS is a violation of the license)
