Iwmigrate issue

Hi All,

I am using TS 7.2.1 I have installed it on the server and after doing changes now I am running the iwmigrate cmd but when I run the migrate commend I am getting the error. Can anyone tell me what I have missed so I got this error. Screen shot is attached for error.

Quick Thought -

- Are you running the command prompt as an Administrator ?

- You logged in to the terminal with a user who is a Master user ?

Yes the user is master user and also has admin access on the server.

There appears to be two different issues in that image:

The OS does not appear to believe that the iwmigrate CLT is a valid executable. Perhaps it is corrupted and you need to get a new copy of the CLT?
You are getting "access denied" error messages, which implies that the user running the command does not have the authority to do so. Is the backing store on a local drive or a SAN drive?

FYI - "iwmigrate" (on Windows) requires that there be an account named "Administrator" on the server, and that the account be a Master user in TeamSite and a member of the Local Administrators group on that server. Once you are done with the migration, you can remove / rename the "Administrator" account.

Additional questions:

What version of TeamSite is the source store of the migration?
What version of Teamsite is the target store of the migration?

Yes you are right that iwmigrate.exe itself was corrupted so that's why it was not working. thanks for your guidance on this.

I have one more question here.

I ran the iwmigrae only for one sub branch.

Now I ran the same commend for main branch of my project and its shocking that it got completed with success message but when i see the size of the branch after the migrate its very less. please tell me what shall i do now?

Please define what you mean by "size of branch" and whether you are talking about the sub-branch (which you previously migrated) or the "main branch" which you just attempted to migrate.

Also, please provide the full command line used to perform the migration (you can obfuscate corporate names with '****' if you want) and attach the complete log file of the migration (you did capture the log data - right?)
