Disk Failure when copying 2GB file to store

I am trying to copy a 2GB file to my backing store. It gets to the end of the copy and then fails stating "Cannot copy myfile.zip: More data is available.".

I get a "disk failure" in the GUI and have to restart the TeamSite service.

iwtrace.log has the following.

I have been trying to find a solution for this for a few months now. It's not the file since it happens on other files of that size. If I remove some of the contents of the zip to make it smaller it works.

I have over 90GB available for disk space.

Any ideas?

Post the output of: df -k `iwgetstore` /tmp
You may or may not have the space where you need it.
It's also possible you have the space where you think you do, but you have a very large disk such that 90 GB left is less than the % amount needed.

Here's the contents of my iw.cfg

disklow_mbytes=1000 # freeze server if disk space falls below this number (in MB)
disklowpercent=1 # freeze server if disk space falls below this pct

So the above settings shouldn't be the issue. Especially since it's not freezing or throwing and errors in the logs related to low disk space.

Also, I'm on Windows, as indicated in my signature. So df won't work for me.

Okay - I missed the Windows bit - so in that case look at the disk space available on all the partitions on the server (e.g.: c-drive, d-drive, etc.) and make sure that none of them are close to full. The iw.cfg entry is only for the backing store - it has nothing to do with temporary space - which is what you might be short on.

I have C and E drives.

C has over 20 GB available.
E has over 90 GB available.

I don't really think it's a physical space issue. More of a memory issue with JBoss I believe.

My web server (outside of TeamSite) that serves up these files also seems to have an issue with the size. If I download directly from IIS on my web server I can download the file without any corruption. Served from JBoss, it downloads all the zip file, but is corrupted. If I decrease the size of the file to 1.5 GB then it works in JBoss. I am running Java 1.5 and JBoss 4.0.5 GA on my web server. I also have another web server running Java 1.6 and JBoss 5.1.0 GA. I am going to try downloading it from the newer version site.
