Migrating TS 671(Solaris) store on TS 741(Linux) box, iwmgirate failed with following error:

Sounds like a permissions issue.

Who are you running the iwmigrate command as?
Are you running iwmigrate over the network or did you copy the old store to the new server and configure it as a [temporary] second store?

In short - please provide a list of the steps you did and the account you used to do them.

Yes, this looks like a permission issue, yesterday after performing iwmigrate operation as real “root” user, not “sudo su” it seems to be working.

Also, here are the recommenations:

* Use real “root” to perform iwmigrate

* Use “nohup” option while running iwmigrate

Example: nohup `iwgethome`/bin/iwmigrate -o ../../iw-store
