xx/images/favicon.ico appears when edit

On occasion (about 1/2 of the time) when editing a SitePublisher page the edit screen has the proper background but shows only "site-name/images/favicon.ico" on the screen.

Anyone else experience or have a fix?

I assume it is consistent on what shows and what doesn't. The only time I know of where edit and preview are significantly different are due to jquery/ext collisions. The edit page uses ExtJS to control the page edit and I think Rick has documented style collisions with jquery.

Anything special about the images that do not show ? Direct img tags or in css background or created by JS ?

Preview works just fine, it's on occasion in edit mode. I suspect it's an issue with timing and a document.write occurring too late.

Back to my questions. For this image, in the source, it is a straight image ? Or is it loaded via CSS/JS ? From your document.write comment, I assume it is JS based.

Are you using jquery or ext on the offending page ?

Can you turn JS error/debug on and preview ? I suspect you will see a JS error or 3.

I don't really understand your issue. but this is coming from the default.site configuration for the fav icon. i always see that path as text in the edit mode if i don't have anything in the page but it goes away when i have some content in the page.

are you saying you have content in the page but it doesnt show up 1/2 of time in edit mode?
