TeamSite -> CC Pro: Session expired

Hi,

I have problem with the authentication in TeamSite:

- If I log in in TS 7.3.2 and than I use the link to go to CC Pro, I am prompted to log in again.
- If I do the opposite, I log in into CC Pro and than I use the link to go to TemaSite it works without log in.
- If I log in into TeamSite and I give a look at the cookies, I see that iw_user and iw_domain are duplicated. One couple has /iw-teamsite as path and the other /. This creates a lot of problems switching between different users and CC Pro since the two couple of cookies can contain different values (since CC Pro only use the / as path).

Do you have any idea if it is a configuration problem and how to solve it, or it is a bug in TeamSite?

Not really sure about that, but you can have a look at TeamSite\iw-webd\conf\httpd.conf (and other files in that folder) for configuring session length/expiry cookies etc.

I gave a look at all the files in that folder. I tried with a couple of changes but did not work.

What do you mean when you say 'I log into teamsite/ccpro'?

In my ts732 I log in (without any choice for ccpro or teamsite) and then I am taken to what ever desktop I had selected on the last session.

If I login, normally I am redirected to IP/iw-teamsite/action/iw.ui
and as you said, I am redirected to the right application.
In the case of CC Pro I am redirected to IP/iw-cc/command/iw.ui

Suppose that I logout and login again I am already here: IP/iw-cc/command/iw.ui

So what happens is that if I log in from this location, I have no problems with the sections. If I do it from the original URL and I ask to access to CC Pro (from TeamSite) the session expires.

Are you going to IP/... or HOSTNAME/... ?

If you're going to HOSTNAME/...? Are you going to:

And are you using the exact same syntax when you "do it from the original URL"? If not - be aware that TeamSite treats each of the above references as distinct entities, each with their own unique authentication cookie.

It is an internal machine.

I just had the same issue.:

1. Login via: http://server/iw-teamsite/action/iw.ui
2. 'Teamsite gui FKA CC-standard' is showing
3. Select 'Go to: CC-Pro' (top-right-corner)
4. error: 'Session has expired' on http://server/iw-cc/command/iw.ccpro.switch_ui

Sure looks like a bug to me.

I know it is too late but can you please let me know what was the fix for the session expired issue? I am also facing the same issue in Teamsite 7.5.
