LSCS Projects Missing

i am not able to see any LSCS projects on my Teamsite server (authoring) although i have multiple sites configured on this server. i am able to see the CS debug panel http://TSServer:8080/lscs/admin/debugpanel/ on this server but it doesnt show any projects if i click on 'List Project Names'.

I found no content under \LSCSAuth-Store folder on this server which obviously means that LSCS Authoring Store is empty.

My question is, how will the content go inside LSCSAuth-Store folder on Teamsite Authoring Enviornment (NOT the runtime environment)?

TS/LS 7.2.1 on Windows

How have you been submitting the content ? What content ?

Check in $odhome/logs/lscs and see if any logs have been created, that will let you know what has been pushed to LSCS

ok, i used PLC to DEV deployment option to try publich the content to my Authoring LCSC environment. But PLC Workflow fails at Deployment Task with following error in Content Center logs:

Open Deploy logs are not getting updated.

I checked other threads in the forum as well. Bunch of people had same problem but could not find out real solution to this problem.

Any pointers ??

The NPE on a deployment task *can* be caused by not having a deployment entry in the default.site

Also, have you tried the LSCS deployment ?

Default.site has got the enrty 'LiveSiteRuntime'.

Which LSCS deployment are talking about? i am using default PLC workflow for the deployment.

If you load the lscs-sample (or livesitecs-demo) spar, it will include an LSCS workflow. At least it does on 7.3.1 and I thought 7.2.1 as well

Edit:

I just loaded lscs-sample.spar on a 7.2.1 VM and the Publish to LiveSite Content Services workflow is there.

So load it and try it.

content in 7.3 now longer needs to be deployed to LSCS preview.

The projects resource is not available in LSCS preview.

do a document$?q=*&project=YOUR_BRANCH_NAME

and you should see your documents if indexing is working properly

Note that in 7.3.2 I had to get a hunter_index patch in order for workarea files to be indexed and be available for LSCS preview.

Once that was done, I started getting the same document back (the latest from staging and the workarea version). So then a change was needed to the LSCS queries (java code) to add the context query string (set to whatever branch you are looking for)

If you use SitePub tables, you will still need to run workflow to get the data there.
