PLC Tag Files task LivesiteId metadata generation

In PLC Workflow, Tag Files task were used for creating the metadata properties for LiveSite Content ID ("TeamSite/LiveSite/Id") of the dcr.

Is it possible to create the LiveSite Id for any dcr's by without using this tag files task in the PLC workflow. i.e., Is there is any way to create this LiveSiteID metadata by without using the workflow?

Not in any supported fashion. Why is this task not suitable for your purposes?

I need LiveSite ID for all the dcr's which is newly created for inserting this id in the database tables. For creating this id, I'm using the PLC workflow and then again I'm using my custom workflow for doing the other business implementations.

Teamsite version 7.2.1
LiveSite Version 7.2.1
Opendeploy Version 7,.2.1

I tried to customize the PLC workflow, but no luck. So looking for some other solution like generating the LiveSite Id's while saving the dcr itself by using some custom scripts.

If you have your own workflows, why do you need the LiveSite ID? Can you not generate an ID of your own? If not, have you tried copying the task from the PLC and dropping it in your custom workflow?
