unable to run iw-home\install\install_webapps.ipl

when i try to run

\iw-home\install\install_webapps.ipl -c i am getting the following error. can anybody tell me what is going wrong here and what i have to do. Even my teamsite engine is not running coz of this....

i don't think -c is a valid flag to send to install_webapps.
it looks like somehow your install got corrupted. take a look at the file it is referring to (i18n.tld), it should be valid XML (it ships as valid XML).

Valid usage:

install_webapps.ipl -h
Usage: iwperl install_webapps.ipl [-i|-u] [-f] [-r] webapp...

Installs, reinstalls, or uninstalls Interwoven webapps.

-i Install webapps (default)
-u Uninstall webapps
-f Force deletion of old webapps without prompting
-r Do not restart Interwoven services afterwards

For what it is worth, on my Solaris 8 box, running TS 5.5.2 (no SPs), I use /install_webapps.ipl -c on occasion. . . the -c flag is a valid flag (at least on my system), and I think it stands for 'recompile'

It looks like you might have a corrupted config file, specifically, your $TSHOME/iw/webapps/webdesk/WEB-INF/tlds/i18n.tld.

The first couple lines of my file look like:
