Deploying PowerPoint ppsx files

Currently running Version: 6.2.0.0.0 Build 68916 Interwoven 20071109 of open deploy. It will not deploy the new PowerPoint .ppsx files. In fact TeamSite will not allow that extension to be submitted. Is there a configuration setting where I can add the extension so it will be deployed?

Should not be an issue.

However it is possible that file (or type) is marked as a private file.

Check iwhome/local/config/autoprivate.cfg

The default excludes Word temp files, it is possible that type was included

Here is my autoprivate.cfg file
Not sure how this works. Maybe the emacs AppleDouble format entries?
Does change to this file require restart - my guess is yes.

It does not look like it is marked as a private file. you would see it marked in the UI if you marked it private that way.

Then likely the issue is the workflow. You will need to check the workflow you are running, it may be stripping those files off for one reason or another. Since that would likely happen before the submit and deploy, I suspect OD has nothing to do with it.

What workflow are you using & who wrote it ? You are using an old version of TS, so it is likely a Perl base WFT.

We do not use Workflow, so I'm not sure what the issue is. But for some reason Open Deploy will not deploy that extension type.

Actually you probably are using workflow, if you submit via the UI. Only the very old versions of TS allow submitting without invoking a workflow. But, be that as it may. Check your OpenDeploy config file, somewhere in OpenDeployNG/conf

You maybe filtering out that type of file. You can also peruse the logs and they will tell you what/why
