IW Proxy won't start

New install of 6.7.2 on Windows 2008 and the Interwoven Proxy won't start, getting Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly

Any clue???

Anything in the logs? Did installation completed successfully?

1067 used to be a poor excuse for a license problem - not sure if that's still the case, but you should probably verify your license files.

I regenerated the license and that didn't change the error.

After review the install guide I do recall getting a "The following port(s) is (are) busy: 80" warning when installing. The guide just has next highlighted so I clicked next. Could that be the root of my problem???

Have you tried running iwproxy manually from a shell prompt on the server? You might get more detailed information that way.

Looks like the hardware admin didn't grant my user permissions correctly as the CLT error is:

iwproxy does not have 'Act as part of the operation system' privileges.

Hopefully its just a permissions issue. Fingers crossed!

That didn't do it. Most likely I'm going to just scrub this install and try again...
