Two different style sheet and two different page layouts or template

We have two different page layouts and both are using two different style sheets. If we
add the two css's at site map level , it will conflict and the design change . Instead of adding at page
level,we have tried all the other options like adding at page layout , using a special
component and using page scope etc.. all this will work and load the css at preview
mode , but not in Edit mode .

Situation : html breakdown for home page and micro site's are different.

Do we have any other options or work around on this issue.

We want to load the two different css to the different layout / template and want to
load the css at edit mode to see the actual page

Any thoughts / advice / refer /options

I hope I'm understanding your challenge:

We do the following:

We have two page layouts: home and interior

In the fixed-layout xml we have: css-class="homePage" and css-class="interiorPage" on the Canvas tag.

Then in the CSS those styles that conflict we use:

.homepage .**** {....}
.interiorPage .**** {....}

That way we have only one stylesheet and all it good.
