Identifying base or receiver

How can I identify whether installed OD server is base or receiver ?

Do I have to look at licence or is there another way ? Does it install with some dir or different name for dir or any other way ?

In OpenDeployNG, what does NG indicate ?

Either you can identify checking license file or running iwodservergetversion CLT command

Heh - NG stands for "Next Generation" - if you're into StarTrek (which the original OD developers were) - the pre-5.x versions of OpenDeploy used the default port of 1701 (NCC-1701 = Kirk-era Enterprise); 5.x begat "NG" and switched the default port to 20014 (I thought this was the designation of the Picard-era Enterprise, but I cannot find any corroborating evidence of such)

Anyway, NG just stands for "Next Generation" - leave it at that.

If you look in ODHOME/etc/ and you see odbase.xml - you have a Base Server, if you see odrcvr.xml - you have a Receiver.
