Checking preview for obile and tablet devices

1) We are having a requirement. where a page is to be supported for laptop, tablets and mobiles.

I am accessing TS from desktop. Preview I see at this time are for desktops only. To check preview fro tablet and mobile, I need to access TS using these devices. Is TS compatible to work with these devices (My guess is yes, but I have never worked with these devices before, so I am not sure) ?

Everything I have to do is get network access for these devices, access TS using these devices and do the preview. Is there anything more on top of this ?

2) Is TS672 still supported by HP ? I remeber TS671 has been phased out in Aug or Sept this year. One of collegues was telling that TS7.1 is also not supported anymore, is that true that all versions upto TS7.1 are not being supported now ?

1) If you deploy your files to a preview server (as opposed to trying to do the preview completely within TeamSite), you can point your other devices to the preview server's URL to verify their appearance and functionality - and you don't have to worry about using TeamSite on those devices. (The thought of trying to use TeamSite on a cell phone is daunting to say the least ;-))

2) If you go to the Support site and search for "end of life" you will see (currently) at least two articles that answer you question:

I don't have access to support site as yet and probably I will noit be getting one soon.

So please let me know, if TS7.1 has reached EOL or not and which version has come to EOL

In case ghoti's answer wasn't forceful enough, deploying to a preview server is not just the ideal approach, it's also the only approach. Mobile devices will absolutely not work in the authoring tool whatsoever.

7.1 and earlier have been EOL as of Sept 2013.
