How does the Eolas patent case affect TeamSite?

Does anyone, Interwoven support in particular, have any info on what might happen to users accessing TeamSite through MS IE if the Eolas case is successful? MS's plan is to present the user with a dialog box asking to displace the linked-to object.

"By default, users are prompted with a dialog prior to loading each ActiveX control on an affected Web page. When the user selects OK from this dialog, the control loads normally. The following image shows the dialog presented to users for each control."

The big issue I see is that it will prompt for every object loaded.

Searching support.interwoven.com yielded no results.

Any ideas?

The recently released security update for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1b changed how the browser interacts with ActiveX components. Preliminary testing has demonstrated that the changes to this functionality do not affect two of Interwoven's client ActiveX applications: VisualAnnotate and VisualFormat. However, users will experience problems with the Local File Manager Applet (LaunchPad in TeamSite 5.5.2 and before).

Internet Explorer 6 SP1b will display a prompt to determine whether a control is loaded or whether to display alternate content, whenever the Local File Manager is used. After selecting "OK", users will be able to successfully interact with the Local File Manager. For more information go to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/ieupdate/activexchanges.asp.

Because of these findings, Interwoven cannot claim support for all TeamSite client user interfaces on Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1b until further notice. This includes both WebDesk Pro and WebDesk for 4.5.x and 5.x and WebDesk Pro, ContentCenter Standard, and ContentCenter Professional on TeamSite 6.0.
