Permission Issue with TS 6.5 store in TS 7.2.1

We have recently upgraded from TS 6.5 to TS 7.2.1 on our UAT server. After that everything was working fine and all the users having editor/master access could access all the branches & workareas.

Now we have copied the production stores (6.5) to the UAT server to get the updated data. After copy we exported the iwidmap from production and imported them on UAT. Once we up the store, only Masters can access all the branches & workareas but the Editors doesn't even access the workarea. All the role assignments have been lost and each user has only one default role - workflowuser assigned.

Does anyone know how can I assign the roles to previous users?

I have run the iwaccessmigrate and the access to workarea issue is resolved but it added another issue.

Now the Editor is assigned the role as Administrator and can access the workarea in another store which it is not suppose to.

Any idea why it is behaved like this? Is there any way to correct this issue?
