TeamSite 7.4.1 UI - Next Button

We just upgraded from TeamSite 6.7 to 7.4. When I open a template from the Teamsite UI (old ccstd), I do not have a "Next" button anymore. It's now a "Finish" button. This seem like the default behavior of the old standard view, I do not see any customization we applied. Do I have to add customization to set the Next button?

They may have changed the label but not the functionality.. when you click Finish, does it not ask you whether you want to start a workflow? Do you have workflows available for command type tt_data?

I hit the finish button and the DCR just closes...nothing else happens. This is the standard view so tt_data should be configured right? I only found one reference to it in the workflow documentation and it didn't really tell me alot.

The TeamSiteUI is a completely new webapp, and it shares very little with CCStd, so I don't think we can afford to make those assumptions.

I just gave it a quick test on my box and FormsPub opens using the CCPro URL. Assuming it's the same on yours, you'd need to turn on ccpro-use-tt-data in the application_custom.xml using the UITK.

I do have that set in the application_custom.xml file. But I don't have the next button for the TeamSite UI view.

1) When you edit a DCR in the TeamSite UI, what is the contents of your address bar?

2) After you made the change in application_custom.xml, did you run the make_toolkit?

3) Do you have any workflows configured to be available for command=tt_data?

2. I did run a maketool

3. I have command name="tt_data" in the available_templates.cfg and I also tried it in the available_model.xml config file.

Well that looks to me like it should be working then. I'd say make sure that your build was successful (meaning, make sure that your application_custom.xml change made its way into the ApplicationContainer folder structure and that JBoss did restart).

Pinging @ghoti and @nipper -- any ideas?

Don't do much with the TeamSite UI, Does it work with the CC-Pro UI ? If I get a chance I will try it on a 7.4.1 server.

It works the same way in CCPro...if you click the finish button it just closes the template.

I have been trying to get the Next button on TeamSite UI templates but still no luck.

Can you post the relevant portion of the available_templates.cfg and/or available_mode.xml files?

Neither of those is 'correct' for the sake of your testing.

The available_templates.cfg is wrong in that you're probably a master/admin and not an author/editor, so that might explain why this isn't an option for you.

The available_models.xml is strictly wrong, because the command cannot be both submit and tt_data at the same time.

You could have your model on either, if you wrap an <or> around those two things.. but the actual command value at any particular instantiation will always be exactly one of them.
