Custom Error Pages-Livesite Runtime

Hi,

In livesite runtime, we are landing on default tomcat 404 error page when .page is mistyped as .pages/.paget etc.
When the path is mistyped it lands in the custom error page but this is not the case with .page mistyped.

Landing on default tomcat 404 page when .page is mistyped has been reported in testing

Any ideas on how to display custom error pages would be much helpful.

Create a Custom error.page with more appropriate message, deploy to server and write the URL redirects to get to this page for all the errors.

Basically in LSDS, all the URL is gone through LiveSiteFilter that looks for .page extension if anything apart from this return back to tomcat as 404 error. So in that case, to handle this at LSDS end you have make entry for custom error page in web.xml of LSDS.
Another way to keep front web server to serve all the request using URL Rewrite from application server.
