Initiating WFT workflow through command-Line

Hi All,

Is there any way to initiate the WFT type workflow from command line (or using any CLT) by passing only the workflow template file name or path.

iwjobc requires JOB SPEC as an input. So, is there any other way to achieve this like iwmodelc command for WFM types workflows.

iwmodelc is working fine for me. But I would like to know, how to initiate a WFT type workflow from command line, without passing JOB SPEC.

Any suggestions??

First you should have job specification to initiate the job using CLT command
Job Specification created using Perl script either using workflow system or some other approach in perl.

I gone through all those forums. It seems everywhere JOB spec is required.

Thats why I raised another thread, whereas I could get some clue to trigger without job spec. Similarlly the WFM -iwmodelc works.

iwwft_compile.ipl does not require a job spec, it requires an XML file that provides information such as the name of the WFT, and allows you to pass in other information that otherwise would be required in the instantiation form (something that, AFAIK, cannot be done with WFM)
