Taxonomy in MediaBin

I am new to MediaBin and have read that it leverages IDOL instead of metatagger.

I need help to understand how is a taxonomy applied to MediaBin? Is it managed using some OOTB UI like we do in TeamSite?

Also Can a taxonomy be made available to users in anyway when are tagging assets?

There is no OOTB taxonomy. You will have to build one.

I recommend heavily utilizing metadata to build your taxonomy. Then leverage IDOL search (metadata filtering and saved search). This will give a dynamic taxonomy.

We are able to connect to metatagger from 8.0.3 server and able to extract keywords.

Do we have any document which explains about the IDOL metadata customization?

I wouldn't rely to heavily on MetaTagger as I have heard this will be OOL soon and replaced with something else, however I do not know what the replacement will be. I just hope there will be a seamless integration with TeamSite Taxonomy.
