Trouble in Retrieving the content tagged with Custom metadata

Hi All,

TS 7.3

I am trying to get the image tagged with the custom metada with the Conditions/Actions. Below are the steps I have followed:

1. Tagged an image with the metadata i.e Brand: Test

2. Created a custom condition and Action verbalizations for custom metada Brand.(Written Custom Java class for Conditions and Actions)

3. Conditions and Actions are working fine.

4. However, we are unable to get the data tagged in the Rule. The result returned is zero.

5. I tried to execute the conditions with the OOTB actions E.g Locale. This is working and the image is returned.

6. This seems that our Actions are not working for the custom Metadata i.e Brand:Test.Where as it is working for OOTB actions like Locale.

Can you please help me in resolving issue??

I have attached the log. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Well the first step would be to try your query directly against LSCS in a web browser and see what comes back

q=TeamSite/Metadata/Qualifier:="Brand_DE"

Note that it's using an exact match here, not a substring match.. if that makes any difference in your use case.

I am new to LiveSite, so wondering how to query the LSCS in web browser.Any help on this is really appreaciated.

And one more thing I would like to highlite here is , I have verified the query for OOTB actions i.e Locale.

I could see that the Locale also has the query with encription and the content is retrieved succesfully.

People will help people hwo actually try to do some investigations themselves. The LSCS technical reference manual describes this in great detail.

There is also the debugpanel which you can hit and it will provide some information as well.

http://server:1876/lscs/admin/debugpanel is the default, but your port and project (lscs) may vary.

Hi Chaya,

Can you please attach your custom code for verbalised condition and action.

Also, did you register your verbalised condition class at the below mention path-

/opt/Interwoven/TeamSite/local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer/resources/customer-resource-config.xml

Please provide your "customer-resource-config.xml" as well.
