Teamsite 7.3.2 Installation Servlet-api.jar missing

Guys we have installed new Teamsite 7.3.2 in Unix enviroment. our java files are not compiling as they cannot find javax.servlet.*.

downloading servlet-api-2.3.jar and moving it to lib folder breaks the jboss server.

any ideas what can be done?

How you are compiling your java code?
Location of code? Is this SitePublisher component related or TeamSite customization related?
Please give more detailed description. That would be helpful to understand the issue.

This is the real question right here.. If you were compiling using make_toolkit/build, you shouldn't have this problem.

Assuming you're compiling your code outside of TeamSite (like in Eclipse, for instance), copy the servlet-api.jar from ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war/WEB-INF/lib into your project space. However, I don't know how you're breaking JBoss unless you're dropping that (incorrect) version of the servlet-api.jar in the [livesite_]customer_src/lib folder, which is unnecessary.

Tanuj - We are also facing the same issue.Please find below the error. Also can you please advise on what steps you have followed to fix the issue. I am trying to build the UI for Teamsite not for SitePublihser.

Copy servlet-api.jar from ApplicationContainer\server\default\lib to customer_src\lib.
