windeploy for deployment instead of opendeploy

Hi All,

 

Has any one used windeploy for deployment instead of opendeploy, I have requirement where there is some constraints where we cannot install odrcvr agents in the server, so was looking for some other way of deployment like windeploy which is being used to deploy .net application to the server.

 

Looking for any lead on it.

You can use whatever you want - you just have to write the code to execute it to do what you want it to do.

 

If you can determine the command line arguments for windeploy you could wrap the process in a script.

 

If windeploy provides a Java API - you could create a custom deployment class that uses CSSDK and windeploy's API to perform your file transfers.
