Plugable Dct within DCT

Hi All,

We are trying to find a way were we can plug a container which is basically is in a xml format, plug into an other dct . So that way we dont need to write the container and its items again just need to include it in the datacapture.cfg

Can you suggest the way we can accomplish the same

This could be accomplished by writing an ipl/java. Call the ipl/java code through inline in the different DCT where you want to include. The container code that you write in the ipl/java code will be embedded into the DCTs.

You don't need to write same piece of code for container and its items in different DCTs.

Refer Form Publisher Developers guide, you will find how to use inline in the DCT.

Thx for ur reply neeraj , i did the same using :

<script language="javascript" location="webserver" src="/iw/GeoTaxanomy.js"/> and entity attribute for xml

its has made my datacapture.cfg to few lines
