Workflow Email Task error

TeamSite 7.2.1.0.0
Windows Server 2008 R2

The OOTB "email task" available in the workflow Modeler is being used in one of our workflows and is causing an error when this task is executed . Some threads on Internet suggest
missing mail.jar and activation.jar, but these are already present in these locations:

ApplicationContainer\server\default\lib
ApplicationContainer\server\default\deploy\iw-cc.war\WEB-INF\lib
ApplicationContainer\server\default\deploy\iw-preview.war\WEB-INF\lib

The error message from content_center.log has been attached. Any help would be really appreciated.

Make sure that 'jar' is in your path - cd to ApplicationContainer\server\default\deploy\iw-cc.war\WEB-INF\lib and run jar -tf mail.jar | find "ByteArrayDataSource"
(alternatively use full path to jar and/or the mail.jar file)

You should see something like:

javax/mail/util/ByteArrayDataSource$DSByteArrayOutputStream.class
javax/mail/util/ByteArrayDataSource.class

If you don't - that's a problem - and you may need to extract it from the installer or ask Support to send you a new copy for your version of TeamSite.
If you do see those entries, then it sounds like a CLASSPATH issue (though how that occurred is beyond me at this point)

This could also have been caused by dropping a really ancient version of mail.jar in customer_src/lib. If that's the case and you need it there for your code to compile, you should have copied the version from the folders you stated. (remove it and rebuild to revert the app container to the ootb copy)
