TS 7.3 install location

Over the next couple of months I'm doing an in place upgrade from TS 672 to TS 731. This is on RedHat. In preparation for the upgrade I completed a fresh install of 731 on a sandbox and noticed the TS install dir is different from my 672 install.

Version 672 the iw-home location is /p01/app/iw/tsite/iw-home. Version 731 it's /p01/app/iw/tsite/TeamSite.

This took me by surprise to say the least.

My question is will upgrading from 672 to 731 change the iw-home location?

New installs go into TeamSite

(usually you provide /apps/Interwoven to the installer)

So TS is now consistent with OD and other products.

If you upgrade in place, it will install into /apps/Interwoven/iw-home or whatever you have

request.txt

NP, this will make life difficut for people who want to upgrade hardware and TS at the same time. Symbolic Links are your friend. On DOS it will be more difficult.
