New Target specification in PLC workflow

I have followed the setups to attach a new deployment target in the extensible com.interwoven.livesite.deployment.model.DeploymentTarget bean in customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml. I also have a workflow(.ipm) in place with the changes as

-Made changes to ODNODES.xml, attached the target in customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml and rebuilt the toolkit. build.bat (update-default)

I am trying to attach a new deployment target (preview).

I have cut down on the tasks in the default workflow PLC workflow, and have made changes to the default deployment task
and the deployment script "development" +

which should fire the deployment is the production flag is false.

But the deployment doesn't seem to be firing,

Additional Configuration Information: Teamsite 7.2.1 OpenDeploy 7.2.1.

Your attachment seems fine. You can check preview node configuration by changing the target node value in deployment task properties.
TargetNodes=preview

Then check whether PLC workflow is working or not. If this works then there might issue with script variable.

No question, but he has not even gotten that far yet. The error shown is a mis configuration.

That being said, contact supprt for the multi-target PLC patch.

Applied the patch, still no luck. The patch consisted of around replacing 15-20 .jar files. The error I saw in the logs looked like a lot of weird java exception.

I still do not think you are configured correctly. Recheck the SP Dev manual and check your config settings.

This error says you have something configured wrong.
