PLC deploy only ID's of taxonomy node

Hi,

We are using TS 7.4.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 (Santiago).

We are facing one issue, when we deploy any file which is tagged with metadata using Taxonomy explorer using PLC workflow, its deploying only ID of the taxonomy to LSCS not the complete value.

Eg. Metadata tagged on file -

TeamSite/Metadata/ContentType: i2n71le4:/Sony

Metadata deployed on LSCS -

TeamSite/Metadata/ContentType: i2n71le4

Kindly, let me know what configuration we are missing or its the issue with TS version because in TS-7.2.1 it deployed the correct value on LSCS.

looks like the standard metadata processor strips this out for the first entry only. you could make a change to the jar to fix this. typical inconsistent lscs functionality.

Have you got any solution for this issue? I am facing similar issue while deploying contents tagged using taxonomy nodes.

Only first value is getting stored in database.

Hi Sneha,

This is the OOTB functionality. What we did was, we change the condition xsl for the conditions, so that it will compare the user input with id not with value.

Ok. So in my case I am having an action which checks for the taxonomy node value. So I will have to change the "generic-content-retriever.xsl" file to compare with Id and not value.

I will try this and get back in case of any issues.
