Exclude Metadata Tagging

Hi All,

Could some one explain to me how to exclude metadata tagging screen for one folder.

Example:
I have 3 folders a,b,c in xyz main folder,here i want to show metadata tagging screen for a and c folders and i don't want show metadata tagging screen for folder b.

Environment:
Teamsite:7.2
Solaris

You can restrict a path to add metadata or not to add metadata by using "datacapture.cfg" and "metadata-rules.cfg" at iw-home/local/config location.

We have created datacapture.cfg and configured in medata-rule.cfg file.But here the problem is metadata tagging screen is appearing for all 3 the folders(a,b and c).I would like to know how to add negation to the regex in the cond element

cond vpath-regex="^.*?/default/main/hardware/.*/(pqr|xyz)"

xyz folder have a,b and c folders and need to restrict metadata tagging screen for 'b' floder.

So underneath the "/xyz" folder you want to include "/a" and "/c"?

Hi All,

We are also having a similar requirement,But there are so many subfolders under a main folder, so it is not possible to Include all of them.
Please let me know if I can exclude one folder using regex. or Negation in regex.
