Common JS File

System

I'm trying to have a common js file but it appears that even though the file is in this directory - Iwov doesn't see the features associated with the form api I'm using - does anyone know if I have to make an entry to iw.cfg for this file to be work across all workareas and eventually branches

Here's how I'm calling the js:

<script location="template-type" src="Interwoven/TeamSite/local/config/common.js"/>

I just created a new directory under the "httpd/iw" directory called userscript. Then in the DCT I just reference it this way:
<script src="/iw/userscript/scriptname.js"/>

That should work.
