Difference between embedding and providing a link in DCR

TeamSite 7.3.0, Windows Server 2008

I have TinyMCE as ext editor in a DCT of type Product. From TinyMCE, If I provide a link to a another DCR of type FAQ, it will display as a link in preview. How can I embed FAQ DCR in Product DCR so that it displays content of FAQ DCR when previewing Product DCR rather than a link.

When you say "preview a DCR" - do you mean clicking on the DCR so that it comes in read-only view mode, or do you mean you click on Preview to process the DCR with a PT and you want it to dispay the contents of that oher DCR there?

For the first: no.

For the second: yes, if you program your PT to do so. This is called SMOP - a small matter of programming.
