Simulate Deletes Files - Deployment Doesn't

System

I have an issue where if I simulate a deployment - the logs say it will delete say 100 files 5 directories - which is correct - however when I do the actually deployment the files
don't get deleted - even though they should - any suggestions on what to look for

can you post (as a zip'd or tar'd attachment) the src.* and rcv.* logfiles related to this deployment? That might help the diagnosis.
