registration component stop page refresh

Antima

i am using registration component supplied by Interwoven. When i submit a form the page refreshes and shows the form again. I want to show thankyou message and stop the redirect. Is there a way to do it? I tried return false but no luck, the java code written in foundation.jar seems to redirect it.

The OOTB components are provided more as developer samples than production-ready code. You're supposed to learn from them and then write your own to fit your use cases. It sounds like you've already tracked down the part of the sample component that you want to change, now just create a component that works differently.
