If you are trying to do a fresh install, then why do you need to follow the upgrade path ?go fresh with TS 7.3.1 and copy the store over, do iwidmap (after migrating the users to the new server). That should work.

That should work.The upgrade path i would prefer would be :6.5.3 -> 6.7.2 -> 7.2.1 - > 7.3.1Good luck !!!
But you have to check that 6.5.3 and 6.7.2 installer with service pack should be available in Interwoven support site for download.
If you have valid license , then you can see it in support for download.
Hi GhotiJust a quick question about copying and running the migrate. When you say copy and migrate the store, does it mean including the iw-admin store as well ? Or just the default store? Bz I thought, TS 7.3.1 has more features on iw-admin store than the TS 6.X version and won't it have any conflicts with the old iw-admin store?Can you please explain about the best practice of iw-admin migration as well?Thanks in advanceJohn
I would not run iwmigrate on the admin store. It may not let you anyway.You *may* want to create a backup store (maybe with iwmigrate) of iwadmin so you can copy things over. The 6.7.X admin store will only have a few things (that you have customized) that are worth copying over anyway. Just (non-PLC) workflows, templates and components. That being said a SPAR may be easier.
