uvfs compile issue

Brand new install.

Fresh Linux RHEL 6.5

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5 (Santiago)

redhat-release-server-6Server-6.5.0.1.el6.x86_64

Before beginning to install TS 7.4.1 I am trying to make uvfs and gets an error.

gmake
gmake -C /lib/modules/2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64/build SUBDIRS=/Interwoven/install/ts-software/uvfs/uvfs_2.0.7 modules
gmake: *** /lib/modules/2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
gmake: *** [all] Error 2

build exists as soft link.

$ pwd
/lib/modules/2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64
$ ls -arlt

I know couple of folks have come across this same issue, with no resolution? Anybody heard back from hp support?

Am I running too fast with all the latest software and shooting my foot? ( .. hurting ... Smiley Happy . Any advise is helpful! Thanks.

Forgot to add this:

So the linked file does not seem to be present.

I have had to create the link myself and often have had to download other items to do it. You will need the kernel source but I am not certain what the yum command is for it.

Only had to update kernel module and gmake went fine.

Was able to generate

Now, I can physically copy the files or point the installer to pick up these files from its location.

When you run the installer, point it to the directory containing those files
