BrowseFoldersDlg

Hi,

I'm using the "BrowseFoldersDlg" to get input from the user to select a destination folder for a document, but this dialog only show the matter worklist and my matters, the user don't have any option to make a search for another workspace.

I was looking for a way to invoke the Dialog that exist on the SaveFile when you use the Word Integration.

Is there any way to invoke that dialog?

I use IManBrowseCmdClass, seems to do the job:

I also use IManBrowseCmd normally.

Now, I want to preposition this dialog on a certain workspace where the user then selects a folder. Can I do that through the Context? I know it can take the last location from the registry so I could update that, but that doesn't seem like a nice way to do it. The Dlg version seems to have a DefaultLocation property. Can I just add that to the context?

I'll test and report back, but if anyone knows, much appreciated as I have to have it this week.

Tried it myself, seems to work, needs a objectId as string:

Thanks for reply. This seems to affect the 'Look In' dropdown box value correctly (I have tested with myFavorites for instance).

However, that is not what I need - I have a specific workspace I want to position on ...

I think I managed to find it. I was browsing the imanext2 object model and came across:

ImanExt2.ManBrowseDlgClass.Location

EDIT: Nope, that's not it either. It had just cached my latest folder without me noticing.

This works, get the workspace as an object, and pass it to the defaultlocation

Thanks a lot! Unfortunately I had to create a custom control because I didn't find this myself, but it is even nicer in the end so no big harm. But great to know that this is possible after all.
