My requirement is that I have added Item fields in DCT from external sources like jsp , Xml file. Can be possible?

A DCR is little more than an XML file (with a specific EA), so it's easily done. You should go through the CSSDK to obtain the I/O handles though.

If you actually did mean 'DCT', that's just another XML file so the same applies, though I don't know why you'd need an external handler to modify your templates.
